No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Cloud Hosting
We warrant the integrity of the data uploaded in any cloud hosting account that is made on our cloud platform as we employ the advanced ZFS file system. The latter is the only one which was designed to avert silent data corruption via a unique checksum for each file. We will store your info on a large number of SSD drives that function in a RAID, so the exact same files will exist on several places at once. ZFS checks the digital fingerprint of all files on all the drives in real time and in case the checksum of any file differs from what it has to be, the file system swaps that file with a healthy copy from some other drive within the RAID. No other file system uses checksums, so it's possible for data to be silently corrupted and the bad file to be duplicated on all drives with time, but since this can never happen on a server using ZFS, you don't have to worry about the integrity of your info.
No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Hosting
In case you buy one of our semi-dedicated hosting packages, you will not need to worry about silent data corruption because we use ZFS - an advanced file system that checks all the files in real time. Each time you upload a file to your web hosting account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. The file will be synced between a couple of SSD drives for redundancy, so if a drive fails, the other ones will take over. ZFS compares the checksum of all the copies on the different drives and in case it detects a corrupted copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from another drive. This happens instantly, so there will be no risk for any part of your content at any moment. In comparison, all the other file systems execute checks only after a system failure, but since they don't use anything similar to the checksums that ZFS uses, they will not detect silently corrupted files, so a corrupted copy may be replicated on the rest of the drives as well and you can lose crucial data. As this is not the case with ZFS, we are able to guarantee the integrity of each and every file you upload no matter what.
